For people with a discerning taste in soft furnishings, 1980 was a good year. It was then that Martin & Parker opened its first factory.
Martin & Parker's ambition of producing its own quality hand-crafted soft furnishings for a public with an ever increasing awareness of quality and value had taken seed. It soon built a reputation for its products, being as proud of its skills in creating fine suites as its customers were of owning them.
The company rapidly grew from strength to strength and within 3-years it had outgrown its premises and moved to the Ascot Drive showroom in Derby, where it has a larger workshop employing more people with a modern showroom for the display of prestigious merchandise.
From these purpose built premises, Martin & Parker continues to produce and display a wide range of finely handcrafted furniture in a variety of styles and materials.
In time honoured tradition, Martin & Parker remains a company small enough to care and large enough to cope.
